Announcing the BargainMatch Browser Extension

Love getting great deals and cash back but want it to be easier?  The team at BargainMatch.com has just released an amazingly helpful browser extension to do just that.  Sounds exciting, right?  Install the browser extension now or read on to learn more about the extension and how easy it is to make sure you are getting the absolute best price on everything you buy from over 1,700 online stores.

Now, instead of having to start at BargainMatch.com in order to get coupons, cash back and great deals, all you have to do is install the extension (currently available for Mozilla FireFox and soon to be released for Internet Explorer and Google Chrome), log in once and then surf as usual.  When you go to a website which has cash back and coupons available, a notification bar will drop down from the top of your browser to alert you.  Since you have already logged in, your cash back will automatically be credited to your account after you complete your purchase. 

Another cool feature of the extension is that when you use your favorite search engine and return results that include a participating store, you’ll be notified.  The search engine notification comes in two forms.  First, you’ll notice the same notification bar appear as when you directly visit a participating store’s website.  Second, you’ll see the search results highlighted if they are offering cash back or coupons.  Next to the highlighted search result you’ll see the BargainMatch tag icon.  When you hover over the tag, you’ll see a bubble appear with the cash back amount and a list of any coupons available. 

Speaking of coupons, BargainMatch is home to thousands of coupons, but they generally come in two variations.  The first type of coupon requires a coupon code in order to be applied to your purchase.   This is a code which, when you “Click to Get Code”, the activation code will automatically be copied to your clipboard so you can easily paste it into the coupon box during the checkout procedure.  The second type of coupon utilizes a custom link.  All you have to do is “Click to Activate” and you are instantly whisked away to the start page containing the special deal you selected.
