BargainMatch adds Facebook Connect, Tax and Shipping Calculations and More!

Inuvo’s BargainMatch Team is busy updating some key features and functionality which are starting to roll out to our showcase site and partner sites.  If you are a frequent shopper at www.BargainMatch.com then you’ve probably noticed some of these first updates.  The newest updates include Facebook Connect, real-time taxes and shipping costs, and a nifty Top Stores marquee.

Facebook Connect
Since we want the BargainMatch App to bring the best experience possible to our clients and their audiences, we now have Facebook Connect as a simple log in alternative.  Just click “Log In and then click “Connect to Facebook” and you are on your way. (And since you are on Facebook, make sure to like BargainMatch!)  This saves the hassle of having to create a new account and remember another password.  We also have the standard log in available for anyone without a Facebook account.  More social features are in the works, so stay tuned!

Tax and Shipping Calculations

To give the most accurate results for the lowest price on all of the products in the BargainMatch App’s database, we now calculate shipping costs and any taxes in the final price. This gives shoppers the true final price upfront so there are no surprises during the checkout process when taxes or shipping are usually displayed for the first time.  We are very excited about this feature, as it will save shoppers even more time! (And, on a personal note, I'm excited that the final price is $10 less than Amazon.)

Top Stores Marquee

We have also rolled out the first version of our Top Stores Marquee.  With over 1,600 stores in the BargainMatch App, it’s hard to keep up with all of them!  The Top Stores Marquee scrolls through a list of BargainMatch stores, many of which potential shoppers are already customers of and some they may be made aware of for the first time due to the marquee.  You can see the marquee in action on the www.BargainMatch.com home page.
